My Stories!

June 16, 2025

This last week was wonderful, so here’s how it went:

*Monday* – Took a bus in the morning to my new area (bouaflé) and received my new companion, Elder Jorgensen (my friend from the MTC). That evening we went out to the sector, and the first guy we visited (like 40 years old) was kinda dying. So we’re just sitting there, and he suddenly barfs right on his house floor in front of us (a lot of barf). We decided to give him a priesthood blessing, and a few days later he was better. Good first day.

*Tuesday* – A normal, good day of work. One of our friends was super nice and gave us a broom.

*Wednesday* – Another solid day of work. Ate lots of corn.

*Thursday* – Met this girl who recently got her foot run over by a car. All the skin on about half her foot was ripped off, and it was all yellow—looked like she had a brain on her foot. Super cool.

*Friday* – This one lady told us her house is cursed because there are snakes there. She said she bought some cream from a random dude that supposedly makes the snakes go away when they smell it. She believed this was happening because she hasn’t been going to church every Sunday. Luckily, we were there and prayed for her so that the snakes sent by the devil would leave her alone (Dieu merci).

*Saturday* – Helped some mamas cut up cassava root (only barely cut my finger). Also found this family with a pet falcon—they said it just showed up at their house one day, so they cut off its wings so it couldn’t fly, and now it’s their pet. (See pictures)

*Sunday* – Had a nice day at church. It’s actually well-organized here, so it was edifying and enjoyable (quelle joie).

- We averaged about 10–12 lessons each.

- Had 9 friends and 9 new members at church.

- And we’ll have 4 friends getting baptized this Saturday.

*D&C 6:7* – *Seek not for riches but for wisdom, and behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich.*

Mission is good.

June 9, 2025

Just finished another transfer in Duékoué with Elder Gyapong who comes from Ghana, so here’s another email.

A few interesting things I remember:

 • Saw a dude walking his pet monkey the other day.

 • Had a 17-year-old kid try to trick me into thinking he didn’t have any food, a house, or shoes—but he really just wanted money for drugs.

 • Saw some 6-year-old kids get absolutely smacked by their parents—to the point where they were bawling, crying, and probably bruised.

 • Saw a dude with backwards legs and feet.

 • Met this old guy in a wheelchair with no legs who would call me “America Boy” in English—even.

 • Bucket showered most nights with water that probably had half a cup of weird-looking yellow bacteria stuff in it.

 • Haven’t had a flushing toilet or a bed for the past 5 months (just a mattress on the floor).

 • Usually had about 3 moms a day start breastfeeding their babies right in front of me mid-lesson.

 • Vomited once due to the extremely unsanitary food down here.

 • Saw some little kids pooping and peeing in tiny tuna cans.

 • Paid a dude to make me this super sick homemade button-up shirt made from tons of different African fabrics.

 • Met a guy from Liberia who would mix French, English, and his tribal language together when he talked (I could still understand ).

 • Also saw these kids killing massive lizard things to cook up and eat with sauce (look at picture).

 • Ate some beans and banana stew stuff.

 • Saw some dudes roasting an entire cow over a fire.

 • Made tons of pancakes for 30 members who have never tied a pancake in their life (they thought it was good)

 • Just fought my way through a crowd of Africans to get a spot on the bus and ended up watching a film about naked Indians in loincloths before arriving in my new area.

A lot of other interesting things happened as well, but I’ve gotten so used to Africa these days that things don’t shock me much anymore—and I forget. But anyway…

This past transfer was quite nice because I led the sector, planned everything, and took care of it all. Although it was a little exhausting at first, I learned how to push through even when I was extremely tired. As for the work, almost everyone is willing to listen and talk to us, I'd say about 70 percent of the people we go up and talk to give us a place to sit. It's just that a lot of them won't do anything about our messages, so it's really all about looking for the people that will take action, come to church, respect engagements and eventually get baptised like the Frère Prince, Who I had the pleasure of teaching and baptising. Quelle joie!!!

Now I’m leaving Duékoué and heading to Bouaflé, where I’ll be companions with my buddy from the MTC, Elder Jorgensen. Definitely gonna miss everyone at Duékoué but should be great!!!

Mission is good.

March 17, 2025

Bonjour!

It’s been a while, so here’s the news…

Duékoué Transfer

I just finished a six-week transfer in Duékoué with my companion, Elder Quetee from Liberia. Overall, it was a great experience (c’était très bien passé).

Apartment

To start, I arrived at the apartment (we live as four missionaries) and found that:

 • We have two toilets—neither flushes.

 • Two showers—one is broken.

 • Three AC units—two are broken.

 • One kitchen sink—which is broken.

 • Four stove burners—two are broken.

 • One oven—broken.

 • No closet—so I live out of my suitcases.

 • No washing machine.

Honestly, none of this has bothered me at all. It’s still much nicer than what most people here have. Just being able to sit on a toilet and wash my hands in a sink is a luxury. Most people here use small holes as toilets and then fetch water from a well to wash their hands—probably without soap. I have far too much to be grateful for.

Missionary Work

As for the missionary work, it’s been quite nice! Here are a few stats from this transfer:

 • We found 105 new friends.

 • We had 36 lessons with members.

 • We averaged 13 friends at church each week.

 • We had one baptism—Sister Sara. She’s super cool and always supper happy (En tout cas, elle est une vraie cheté).

Food

This transfer, I had the pleasure of eating lots of Delicious food:

 • termites.

 • Snails with sauce.

 • This ultra-goopy sauce stuff with fufu and 1½-inch fish in it—because the fish are so small it only makes sense to eat it all, head eyes, bones, It adds a nice crunch to the goop sauce.

Luckily I only had to stay in the apartment for four days due to extreme diarrhea.

I also bought a live chicken and carried it around the streets of Duékoué by its feet. I thought I was pretty cool. I also brought it into a taxi and it pooped on itself. Anyway, I named it Chicken, then later that day, I sliced its neck and made some delicious fried chicken for dinner.

This transfer was a wonderful one for me, I learned the massive importance of having faith. Faith that better things are yet to come. Faith that each new chapter of life brings a new beginning. Faith that each trial brings opportunities to learn. Faith that God has a plan for us. Faith in the future.

Hebrews 11:1 — Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Do not long for the past.

Look forward with faith.

The best is yet to come.

February 3, 2025

Bonsoir tout le monde! J'espère vous allez bien! This Emails a bit of long one but its good, feel free to not read it.

Well, this morning I got transfer news—I will be leaving Korhogo to go to a village/town called Duékoué. I’m pretty excited to see other parts of Côte d’Ivoire; it should be sweet! But I’m definitely going to miss Korhogo. I’ve been here for about five months, so I’m basically leaving my home. But ça va aller. My last week here was definitely a good one, so here’s the day-to-day:

Monday – Pretty normal P-day: got food and whatever. But then we had a little family home evening at a member’s house, and they had all these cute little bunnies in a cage. So, I asked this little girl (age 6), “What do you do with these bunnies?” Then she replied, “We eat them. They’re yummy.” I thought it was funny.

Tuesday – There is this one member who is the nicest, happiest dude of all time, and he always gives us food (and will not take money). We were saying thank you, like usual, and he started telling us a story about why he needs to give all the missionaries food. He explained that for his business, he didn’t have money to buy wood to make tables, but then he found wood at the church and considered it a big miracle. So basically, this dude gives us way more food than he has money for, and he is still the happiest guy ever. This made me realize a lot of things, but in any case, the people here are way too nice.

(Picture 1)

Wednesday – Our neighbors just saved up enough money to buy a washing machine, so obviously, they were pretty stoked. But unfortunately, all the buttons on the washing machine were in English. So, we went over and showed them how to use it. I thought it was pretty funny that my comp and I were teaching a grown 40-year-old man and his wife how to use a washing machine. When they saw it spin, they were so extremely fascinated.

That same day, we visited one of our friends that we teach, and to our delight, he had read the first 19 chapters of the Book of Mormon in like five days! So that was wonderful.

Thursday – Met this 35-year-old dude who, right when he saw us, asked if I had a sister. So I said, “Yeah,” and he was like, “Ohh, give me her number.” But I was like, “Nahhh, put on that helmet and pose, and I’ll take a pic and send it to her.” (Picture 2) I thought it was funny that I made this 35-year-old put on a helmet and pose for a pic!

That night, we were out contacting, and we saw this older lady, so we started talking to her. Then she was like, “Sit down,” so we did. But then, out of nowhere, all these 15-year-old girls started coming from all directions. And before we knew it, there were like 12 of them all trying to flirt with us big time. Nevertheless, we still managed to get a pretty good Restoration lesson in. They really wanted a pic, so ya (Picture 3).

Friday – It was Elder Mbuya’s birthday, so my comp and I bought a little birthday cake with his name on it and everything. We had a little birthday dance party-type thing, it was pretty funny (Picture 4)

Saturday – Climbed a mango tree to get some delicious mangoes, had a photo shoot with my little homies (Picture 5), and at night, we saw these Poro dudes roaming the streets wearing these bag-costume things, beating drums, and doing tribal rituals. Unfortunately, I couldn’t really get a video because the locals say that if you do, they will kill you. But honestly, I think I’d just get beaten up big time. Either way, messing with the tribal things down here is not a good idea.

Sunday – The other elders here in Korhogo had a baptism, so obviously, it was great. (Picture 6) The Spirit was exploding in the church building. Definitely a great last Sunday to end my time in Korhogo. It was so sad saying goodbye to everyone, but life moves on.

Bonjour tout le monde!

Being a missionary in Côte d’Ivoire is great!

Mosiah 5

1 And now, it came to pass that when king Benjamin had thus spoken to his people, he sent among them, desiring to know of his people if they believed the words which he had spoken unto them.

2 And they all cried with one voice, saying: Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually.

December 16, 2024

Bonjour Everyone, this last transfer has been a good one no doubt, My companion (Elder box) and I stayed super busy. We rarely wasted a minute. It was great! Usually

I didn't even have time to get 8 hours of sleep or do language Studdy. It was sooo nice.

But anyway this place is the best. It's so cool when almost everyone we talk to just lets us in their house and gives us water with an ant in it and like you can see oil and like dirt floating in it, it usually still tastes good.

Also almost every single day we bike past kids that have never seen a white person so me just saying hello makes their whole day great. (One time we had a stampede of like 100 school kids chasing us)

Also I'll try random food and things off the street usually with flies on it. Or random juice stuff in bags and things like that, I have no clue where it comes from and it's definitely not sanitary but it tastes good. So it's nice. One day we ate cow tongue. It tastes nice the texture is exactly like a tongue, and the flavor is good.

Anyway, me and Elder box were able to find a ton of cool people. One guy we teach is super cool. He secretly meets with us because his parents don't like the missionaries, he really wants to get baptised but unfortunately it seems like his family situation is not going to permit him too (unfortunate but ça va aller). Another guy we found is a marabout who makes medicine out a plants and things, and he can't go a minute without telling us how happy he is to see us. Everyone here is so cool. Côte d’Ivoire is good.

Anyway I will be staying here in korhogo another 7 weeks with my new companion who is from California so it should be nice.

Spiritual thought

This last week it was evident that we had some spirit filled lessons, Me and Elder Box would finish a lesson and be like, dude you felt the spirit just then right? (And ya we did) It was great, then I'd just pop wheels the whole way home or to the next appointment. Mais en tout cas, Président Henry B. Eyring's last general conference talk titled Simple Is the Doctrine of Jesus Christ explains that the holy ghost can only testify of pure truth. I noticed in this last transfer that even though my French is not the best it's still good enough to testify of straight truth. Like the title of the talk says the doctrine of christ is simple. The doctrine of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end blesses all of God’s children. That's it. It's simple, and I know it's true. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

December 2, 2024

Bonjour Tout Le Monde, hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving .

So two weeks ago I got a new companion, Elder Box and we've been working, we've been contacting a lot of new friends, and found some pretty sweet people.

One night while waiting for a sec at a park type place this dude named freddy came up to us and just started talking, sooo... we tought him the book of mormen real quick then he decided he wanted to read two chapters right there, so that was pretty cool.

And then right after we blew this other dudes mind with the plan of salvation, it was a good evening no doubt.

Also another evening, we went to teach a guy for the first time (we only contacted him and gave him a Book of Mormen before this), and we go to a majestic bench, with white doves flying around us, bird chirping, and the soothing sound of the river behind us. Then to top it off our pal tells us he already read the first 5 chapters of the Book of Mormen. Then we beautifuly teach him the restoration. It was great!

We also teach this Mama who is way too nice and calls us here sons and is always so delighted to see us, she is like me and Elder boxs grandma.

Also this Saturday, 3 friends Elder sinda and Elder Anderson have been teaching had their Baptism.

And to top it all off I decided im not eating oat meal every morning so I've been making cakes and banana bread and donuts and thanks giving dinner and things so it been good.

Here's a few pictures

- Baptism

-my grandma

- Thanksgiving dinner

-homemade donuts

November 18, 2024

Well last week was good.

Heres a few things you guys might find interesting...

-saw a dude walking a little funny so I look at his feet and one of them is just folded in half.

- Also after getting money for the week there was this rice bag that these dudes were tieing up and forcing closed it was moving and screaming, there was definitely a kid in there.

- Also while taking some transportation I looked out the window and what did I see? I saw a lady enjoying fresh air of Africa without any shirt on, this was like is the busy city too, It was kinda hot so I guess it makes sense....

- Also just this morning when I went to pour my oats out, there was just a little cockroache that came out with it,

(I still ate the oats of course)

But as for what I did this week...

Monday- nothing

Tuesday- nothing

Wednesday - stayed at hospital in korhogo, slept the night (With Elder Anderson cause he was sick)

Thursday- flew to the Abidjan hospital with Andersen (who couldn't talk cuase he was dieing), It was a pretty good stuggle to get that coridated with my french, but we got on the plane, it was cool, then I slept the night on the floor.

Friday- I spent the whole day in hospital and I slept on the floor agian.

Saturday- Elder Anderson found a new sick buddy to be with so I left the hospital, met up with my new companion Elder box, took a shower with a bucket, pooped straight water, and didn't sleep much because my stomach hurt.

Sunday- woke up at 515 am and took a 4 hour bus ride and barely made it to chruch at 10. And settled back to Korhogo.

So it was a good week.

October 28, 2024

A nice landscape

Anyway one evening this week me and my compainion went to teach a guy who speaks English and French, so I thought it would be pretty fun to get to teach someone in English. So we meet up with this guy and did the usual, talk a little bit and start to teach, but just a few seconds in he said "no thats wrong" and enlightened us about the prophet kacou Philippe, it was interesting, I just sat there and relaxed for about 2 hours as my compainion and him were yelling back and forth, it got pretty heated, I was in the middle of them so I got spit on a few times just becuase of how passionate they both were, I thought it was pretty fascinating, I learned that all people that don't believe in kacou Philippe go to hell and if anyone doesn't have the opportunity in this life to hear of Kacuo Philippe then they are a child of the devil. So make sure to believe in kacou Philippe or else....

Good week for me

October 21, 2024

I haven't been emailing much because the past few weeks have been rough, this emails not the most delightful but I think if you read it you might find it interesting...

So one week ago...

A sunday morning I remember skipping breakfast then only eating some Noddles for lunch after that I had to wait for a bus for 5 hours take the bus for 4 hours, not being able to get dinner, while at the same time constantly getting yelled at by my compainion for doing anything, getting staight up lied to, geting my money taken, and so forth. Not much I could do not knowing how to speak french. Anyway we finished our travel around 1 in the morning and I slept on a piece of couch with my towel and jorts as a blacket, little to say I didn't sleep all night then I woke up at 6 am and roasted in the Africa sun for a good while without any food or sleep. It was also P day so I wanted to call my family but my compainion would not give me connection even after I offered to buy it and everything nothing would change his mind, it was even a stuggle to convince my compainion that I needed food for lunch after not eating anything for 24 hours. So without connection I sat there thinking ...what the crap am I doing here... crying during the day wasn't an unusual thing. Keep in mind this was just 2 days. Similar things like this were happening for multiple weeks before aswell. I got to point were I actually was thinkin of going home. I thought I could not take anymore. I was convinced I was done.

But...

I have been able to make my problem alot better and very manageable. The knowledge that Jesus Christ knew actually what I was going through and that I could turn to him any time I needed made all the difference while overcoming this obstacle. I realized this experience could help me grow. So I stuck it out, and now I can already see how much easier it will make my future.

Doing the dishes for my mom at home would be the easiest thing of all time nowadays.

D and C 122 7 And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good.

Anyway the main take away is that hitting any challenge with the help of Jesus Christs atonement, is possible. And if you can weather out the storm, it will be for your good and give you experience. If any of you are feeling like you need a little extra help overcoming something know Jesus Christ is waiting for you to come to him. He knows exactly what your going through and how to help.

Anyway lets end the email a little happier.

I'm doing WAY better now, I'm enjoying Africa getting used to the culture, getting better at french, and doing usuall missionary type of things. Mission is good. I'm continuing to learn ALOT.

I'd for sure still recommend a mission for those thinking about it, just keep in mind, "you go in as a boy and come back as a man" (my uncle). People are in need of the gospel too!

Well hope everyone's doing good.

Have a good week and keep it chill

October 7, 2024

The past two weeks I've been doing things learning things teaching things. Theres allways ups and downs but Life is good.

Bob Marley once said,

"Give thanks and praise to the lord, and I  will feel aright"

I couldn't agree with more with Bob.

Keep it chill,

Peace out

September 17, 2024

The sole purpose of our life on earth is to continue to learn, grow, and work towards developing god like attributes that make it possible for us to experience eternal happiness. Knowing this is one thing but doing it is another. Each of us needs help from our heavenly father. One resource God has given us are Covenants. Covenants are promises we make with God, we promise to do what he asks of us and he blesses us in return. When we make our first covenant with God (Baptism). God blesses us with the gift of The Holy Ghost. This gives us greater access to the power of God. This Godly power can help us change and one day become perfectly loving, patient, virtuous, knowledgeable, diligent, humble, charitable, etc. Like our Heavenly Father. The holy ghost can also help us overcome our weaknesses, resist Temptation, and guide us to make right decisions. Everyone can be influenced by the holy ghost but the ordance of Baptism gives us the opportunity to have the Holy Ghost as our constant companion.

My week was good hope everyone had a good week also!

September 17, 2024

This Week I focused my studies on the plan of salvation, or what I like to call it, the plan of happiness.

WE CHOSE TO COME TO EARTH.

In the pre mortal life, each and every one of us chose to leave the comfort of our heavenly farther and come down to earth, recieve a physical body, and experience trails, hardships, and oposistion.

BUT WHY ?

It's because we saw the end from the beginning. We knew Coming to earth would be nessisary for our spiritual growth. We knew it was what we had to do to progress and one day become a God like our heavenly farther. We saw the final destination.

SO HOW DO WE PROGRESS ON EARTH?

Well its a simple as having faith in Christ and following his example. Thanks to his atonement, all of our sins our already “paid” for, Jesus Christ already suffered the consequences of our actions. We just need to repent. “The repenting sinner must “suffer” for his sins, but this suffering has a different purpose than punishment or payment. Its purpose is change” (Dallin H. Oaks). To progress in this life we need to change. Change to become more like Jesus Christ. His doctrine tells us how.

OUR FINALE DESTINATION.

Becuase of our earthly experience, everyone has the opportunity to become their best self through the gospel of Jesus Christ. When we choose to change and become, we earn celestial glory and can become like our heavenly farther. Doing so will give us peace and joy for eternity. What a plan! The plan of happiness :)

️MAIN TAKE AWAY️

With the plan of happiness and an eternal perspective in mind, all things can be for our own good, “Sometimes our needed growth is achieved better by suffering and adversity than by comfort and tranquility”(Dallin H Oaks). Having a Eternal perspective will not only help us overcome challenges in this life, but will help us prepare for eternity.

“For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors” (Alma 34: 32)

September 2, 2024

The past two weeks have been sweet so this email is long. (I'd recommend not reading it and only looking at the pictures)

I see so much weird / cool stuff here every day, one of those is the market, there is just meet, brains, fish, and I have no clue what most of it is. There are tons of flys all over it, it smells interesting, but nevertheless we got some of the food there and it tasted pretty good, Its hard to explain what its like but its cool, I bought snails to eat but unfortunately I discovered people supposedly die from eating snails so I didn't get to eat them.

Fufu with the meat from the market (see picture)

A nice sculpture I came across (see picture)

The week went on and it was good, Me and my companion taught a good amount, and by that I mean I say a few things and he does the rest but, anyway we currently have 4 friends with a Baptism date so I don't think Im doing too terrible.

As for the next week It was a bit of a surprise... twas a beautiful afternoon like so

And my companion gets a phone call and tells me we are going to Yamoussoukro right now for a citizen card, so we go to the apartment and Pack up and leave, I thought this trip would only take 2 days so I only brought one change of underwear and one out fit, After a hoping in a random van for a while, sleeping at some missionary's place and hopping on a bus the next morning we made it, I met up with all my homies from the MTC so it was quite enjoyable to see how everyone was doing,

The day in Yamoussoukro was sweet me, Elder Marshall, and Elder Willborn contacted / taught about 20 people in like 2 hours

That night while I was waiting for a some food at this food stand and talking to like 15 kids we look to our left and see these two dude fighting to kill, lucky we were not in the splash zone of the fight but I saw a dude get absolutely nailed with a wooden board, it was interesting,

Since I didn't bring much clothes I think it was day 3 with now shower at this point and as I went to bed at 2 am I noticed my bed was soggy and smelt like pee, but It was chill, I just kinda soaked up the bed juice all night, well not for too long cuase we woke up at 530, and with alittle sleep no breakfast and bed juice on me we heading a whole days journey to Abidjan and back, we just sat in the bus and sat in the place to get a citizen card all day but it was pretty good cuase I had all my MTC homies to chat with and we saw the temple as well

After our voyage to Abidjan I thought It might be time for a shower so as I was showering, the cockroaches started having a little dance party with me, it was so chill also when I finished I saw this little guy come out of the drain too, then it was time to sleep on the soggy bed again.

The next morning it was finally time to go back to Korhogo, I saw some pretty interesting stuff on the was back, while looking out the window of the bus to my surprise I saw this fully naked dude sticking his butt up as he took care of his fire, while at the same time a guy next to me on the bus was just holding a live chicken like it was no big deal and the mom next him was just breastfeeding her baby as well, everything I see down here always catches me a little off guard. Also anyone can pee wherever they desire so that's pretty nice.

Then Saturday night I finally made it back to my place and went to church the next day,

I went for redemption on my testimony this time I didn't have kids laughing at me so I think my french is getting better!

This week I studied faith, Alma 32 and Ether 12 are good! Id recommend reading both.

Alma 12: 21  Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things witch are not seen, witch are true.

Life is good over here hope its good for all ya'll as well.

August 19, 2024

So last week In the MTC I found out I leave a few days early. So Thursday night 6 of us leaving all gave blessings to our companions, the spirt filled the room that night it was really cool to give my first blessing! It was cool that we could all unite and bless each other for our journeys ahead.

the next mornig (friday) I left. Ive never felt so excited and scared at the same time. So after a 40 minuite plane ride and a 3 hour drive I made it to the mission home around 7pm so I met my mission president who is really cool then went to bed.

The next day me and my trainer (Elder Mbulayi) from Congo came to the mission home and we left for our 5 or something, hour bus ride to korhogo.

So we got to our place pretty late and just cooked food and went to bed.

So then sunday comes around, so we go to church and since I am new I gave my testimony, it was pretty roughf, I got kinda scared and forget alot of the stuff I was planing to say, even this little kid was laughing at me the whole time soooo ya.

After church we went back to our apartment for a sec then my comp. Who speaks only french with english spinkled in every once and a while. Was "like we have some teaching to do" so I just followed him and he didn't bring water so I thought mmm dont need it and we didnt eat lunch for some reason. So we head out little did I  know we where going to be out for 8 hours, luckly I brought my hat tho becuase it was hot like I was driping sweat the whole day with no water only my book of mormen, but nerverless it was no biggy cuase I brought my hat, we taught 4 different people that sunday, for the lessons, I just kinda sit there and say nothing cuase I dont understand like anything, but I still contribute a small amout to each lesson, donc c'est bon , then right once we got back to our house we had a zoom meeting thing for 45 minutes, Also at this point It was 8pm and the last thing I ate was 2 eggs for breckfast at 7 am. I was so exsusted durring it I had to try so hard to not fall asleep. It was deffintly a cool day.

Korhogo is very cool, its theres so many people doing random stuff everywhere you look, like you see dudes peeing on the side of the rode you see people brewing stews you see people cutting fish with machetes and you see goats and chickens and cows just roaming around, aslo eveyone carrys things on there head like big things, aslo taxis are sweet, its just dudes on motocycles and me and my comp just hop on the back, these things are only made for 2 but it works for 3 then you weave through trafic and around goats and people its pretty cool, and to finish of the day the light in our room stopped working so last night and this moring for studie me and my compainion did everything with our phone lights, I also woke up with a mesquite bite on my ankle so hopefully I don't have malaria.

I didn't really take pictures because I dont want to look like a tourist I already get looked at every where I go because I'm the only white person here, but here's a few.
